Hello Parents & Students of all ages!

  

  I have been a music educator for over 20 years. During that time I have taught studio violin lessons, Brevard Public School Orchestras, Orange County School Orchestras, The Geneva School violin classes, early childhood music & movement classes, and MAYS youth orchestras. I currently specialize in teaching one-on-one violin studio lessons as well as beginner-intermediate cello & viola lessons. I am primarily trained in the Galamian ideology of violin techniques, though I use a wide variety of curriculum materials with my students. The focus in my approach is to create a positive learning environment and to help students set and achieve personal goals while learning to analyze and trouble shoot their playing skills. I truly enjoy this work that I do and find joy in being part of each student's musical journey.

  I typically teach lessons on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I am more than happy to help you find an instrument, though I feel confident to say that Muni Strings & Cornell Strings are by far the higher quality stores in Central Florida at competitive pricing. I get nothing out of this recommendation other than students whose instruments serve them well.
