About Rachel.

Growing up in a musical family, music has always been a fundamental part of my life. While surrounded by singers, I discovered my own passion through the violin—an instrument that captured my heart from the very first moment I touched it. The experience felt transformative, as if the skies opened and light shone upon me.

Throughout my journey, I eagerly joined various ensembles and classes. In college, I embraced opportunities to explore jazz and vocal music. It was during my studies that I met my wonderful husband, whose blend of sweetness, humor, and calmness brings joy to my life.

We are blessed to celebrate over 22 years of marriage, sharing our love of family, the beach, and our adventures at Disney—all while seeking out the best gluten-free dining options.

In addition to performing, I have been teaching in various classroom and studio settings for the past 23 years and find it very rewarding to see people reach their goals.

About the business.

My journey into the world of event music began when a college friend invited me to perform at her wedding. The experience sparked a passion that has guided my career ever since. Weddings encompass everything I adore: romance, beautiful flowers, stunning attire, and, of course, lush, captivating music.

These events allow me to express my creativity by exploring a variety of genres beyond classical and orchestral music. I particularly cherish playing in small ensemble settings, where each musician has a vital role and communication is essential. This intimate and expressive form of music-making is deeply rewarding.

Every wedding and event presents a unique opportunity for discovery and learning. I genuinely enjoy connecting with my clients, celebrating their significant moments, and supporting them as they embark on new chapters in their lives. With my skills in organization, communication, and music, I strive to create something truly valuable for each client.

How we work.

To get started, schedule a consultation. I’ll need your event date, time, and location to confirm availability. I’ll provide pricing and booking details upfront so you can choose the package that suits you best.

Once you select your package, I’ll send a contract for your review. To secure your booking, a 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required.

The fun begins with choosing your songs! Every client will receive a music planning guide to help organize your event music. We’ll have a meeting 60 days prior to your event to consult song choices and discuss logistics such as the timeline, setup location, and any potential upgrades like additional musicians or equipment.

Final payment is due 30 days before the event along with song selections, allowing you to relax as we finalize remaining details. During that last month, I’ll send sheet music to the musicians for practice and ensure everything is set with your planner and venue.
